Refillable cartridge for RO Carbon

Could I use the BFS-69 Refillable cartridge 10 inch and fill it with carbon in place of the Carbon Block cartridge for use in my RO/DI?

Should I use two cartridges or perhaps one cartridge and one Carbon Block?

My Tap water TDS is 325 with TDS of 8 before it hits the DI. Using 75gpd Dow membrane

Could you? Sure. Would we recommend it? Probably not.

Standard GAC makes is a poor substitute for a good quality carbon block. The blocks are much more effective at removing VOC's including chlorine, especially in systems with the flow rates we use in this hobby.
