Here's the problem. I have a Deltec PF601s calcium reactor. The Aqua-Bee 3000 had a meltdown and needs replaced. That pump is a little over $200.00!

I am just a little curious if anyone has had the same problem and if a different pump has been used. All the fittings are still good, just the impeller shaft is sorta welded inside the pump.

Any ideas on a different pump that could be used with little modification? If anyone has done this, please, please, let me know what you did to make it work.

Soak the pump in vinegar or acid. It may free it up. You probably know that though.
