I need to buy a new sump that can handle a large internal skimmer and built in fuge. Total display tank volume around 300 gallon. And I need it built to for certain dimensions.
Can anyone suggest a quality actylic builder that isn't overpriced?
Thanks

It won't be the cheapest but you get what you pay for with custom acrylic work.

Contact John @ Advance Acrylics http://www.advanceacrylics.com , he does an awesome job at a good price and guarantees all of his work. Here is a sump he recently built for me.

Great looking sump, Saltfreek.
I emailed melev twice trying to contact him about a sump but he never got back to me. I don't know if maybe I had the wrong email or what? Anyway, I am now having Lifereef build my sump. Definately pricey but his work looks great.

Does he actually sell the sumps? I sent an email asking that and he never replied.

Glasscages.com will customize a sump I believe. I just ordered an acrylic custom tank to hold top off water from their operation. Seemed easy to deal with.

It says on his website that he builds sumps for others. I sent him two emails, as well and he never answered. Maybe his website is not up to date?

All cast acrylic and custom built sumps are over priced. Its a petroleum product and sump builders tend to charge quite a bit....
I'd just buy a glass tank and do it myself. Its cheaper, you won't have to wait, you can make it whatever size you want and you'll learn something :)

I'll likely learn I suck at making sumps :)
