iv heard some people put some ghost or glass shrimp in my fuge, but will they eat the pods? i would drop some pellets in there for them to eat. i heard they spawn pretty regularly so the larve will be food but i dont want them to eat exsiting pods and worms.

So has anyone done this? think it will work?

I remember a similar question posted a long time ago and someone replied that he would be more worried about bristleworms eating the ghost shrimp, although I don't know how much that guy knew...

i put 2 peppermint shrimp in my refuge for a few weeks before i moved them to my display where i think my snowflake had them for lunch, but they did not eat pods....just a few rock anems i had in there.

Glass, grass, or ghost shrimp will eat pods and other smaller critters. They will eat just about anything, includig there friends if they get hungry.

IME they did not breed that often and it wasn't worth the trouble. I have better luck in getting fry from peppermint shrimp and cleaner shrimp.
