I picked up an older non-serial AC Jr. with X-10 on it where the DC-8 would normally connect.

Before I spend the money on a DC8 I just want to make sure it'll function the same?

And any recommendations on the best deal on a DC8?

Thanks

Also, the DC8 has the softstart feature so I can use something like the koralias (not the ones made for wavemakers) and program a wave cycle?

Yes, the DC8 is a direct replacement for the X10; unplug the X10 AC Line Adapter and plug the control cable into the DC8.

DC8 ports 1-3 and 5-7 are soft start.

Awesome. Thank you for the quick reply! Can't wait to get this puppy on and programmed.
