View Full Version : Fuge critter good or bad and what is it?

Well i was doing some maintenance on the tank and found this in my fuge, I'm hoping its not bad because my cheato is covered in them, tons of em.

i forgot to put something next to it for size reference, but that piece of cheato was about 2-3 quarters wide.

Yea they are good. If you have tons though you may want to take some out. Just dont grab em with your bare hands ;)

They are good at that size but get rid of it if it gets to big. I had one about 18 inces and it ate alot of my cleanup crew.

well i have been mysteriously been losing a lot of tiny hermits. that might be the reason..

little guy like that shouldn't be an issue for anybody, especially shelled critters...

they dont eat your living clean up crew even if they are ten feet long

they simply arent equipped for it. they are detrivores. If you grow huge ones it is simply because there are lots of excess nutrients for them to feed on
