My plan is to run one lumenarc mini over my 110 tall 48x30x18, so being that the tank is 30" tall im going 400w 13000k bulb i know it will penetrate but will that reflecter give enough spread, so any help from fellow lumenarc mini owners would be apprecated thanks

No. The amount of area covered by light which is intense enough to support coral growth is only roughly 2'x2'.

I am running 2 lumenarc III 250w over a 240g. 8' of tank, but its only 24" deep. anyway, its lit up... its not optimal by any stretch though. it is a bit darker on the edges and center. I also have the lights over a foot from the water surface to help spread. long term, 400w light way up off the water trying to light a 30" deep tank, I would expect limitations on what you could support.

seems like i 'll be running both reflectors then. i'll just run two 250w 13000k bulbs that should do the trick

400w mounted really high would cover 36" but it would only be enough for low-med light SPS and such.

your better off doing 2x250w's
