im curious about it. If i were (hypothetically) purchasing the san francisco bay brand hatchery for the brine shrimp, whats a good air pump and light to use for this?

it seems like a good investment, considering its probably a little cheaper in the long run to do this instead of continuously going to the lfs.

thx for your help.

Any air pump will work, just make sure you have a valve on it so that you can control the flow of bubbles. as far as light brine shrimp don't need light to hatch, so any light that allows you to see what you're doing will be fine

While they may not need light to hatch, 24 hour lighting does significantly increase both hatch time and hatch rate ;) Any simple light will do. I use a simple shop light with cheap cool white fluorescent bulbs. Just scale down for that hatcher ;)
