Just looking for a really good protein skimmer. Don't really know what a really good skimmer would be. Also i have a 5 gallon fuge and a 10 gallon sump. So size isn't too much of a problem. Just height might be a issue. Thanks for the help Austin

Most people recommend either the bakpak 2 or the AquaC remora.
I have an AquaC remora but I am a little disappointed with it.

The skimmers you definitely need to avoid are the Marineland cyclone, skilter filter and any "nano" skimmer

I just got the tunze 9002, I love it. Its called a 'nano' skimmer, but it does the job well. Great for an in sump application, but if your looking for a hang on back, the AquaC is the way to go

Whats your price range? I am running a Deltec MCE 600 on my 40 gallon, but honestly, I'm not impressed with it.

$300 and under. I want something that can handle a decent bio load.

Those are 2 crappy skimmers, I dont think most people recommend that.
Good and reliable an ER RS80 , with a sump of about 20g.
If you want something more powerful and overkill MSX160
