grrrrrrrrr!!!!!!
i have an octopust recric 110. i did some mods to the pump for better skimming back in jan/feb. it had been working flawlessly up until recently. back in the beginning of september, i had to redo the electrric in my house. as a result the skimmer was off. when i plugged it back in - mmmm....the smell of smoke. for the last month i have been trying to figure out why all of a sudden it stopped working.
when i take it apart and put it back together again, it will spin for maybe a minute. then it'll stop and that oh so wonderful smell retuns. actually, just this last time there was smoke coming from the pump body.
please help me with recommendations
