I would say they're pretty hardy, but they need a lot of light, and the correct amount of flow (not too much, just enough to move the tentacles) It's probably a good idea to dose iodine, but I'm not sure if it's necessary or not. And like most other corals, it needs calcium to grow it's skeleton.

they are both pretty hardy corals an they grow very quickly under the right conditions. they do not need alot of light as i have them under PC lights and metal halide lights. so they do good under both. i would say no less then 3w per gallon of water. but i do have 1 doing great under less lighting, i just have it close to the top of the tank.
as for flow they only require enough flow to keep them moving some. too much flow and they seem to shrink up some.
i dont dose my tanks with anything, besides Bionic and magnesieum. the rest of what it needs it gets from me doing water changes. they do benefit from target feeding but this makes them grow quicker and if they are in a smaller tank then i would only traget feed them once a week or maybe once every other week.
hope this helps you out some, i am by no means an expert and this is just from what i have seen and read personally.

Frogspawn are really hardy. I took a whole rock out of my tank with frogspawn on it and I cut it with a dremel to frag some of it. After I put the mother colony back in the tank, they were back to normal in like 30 minutes. I would say they are pretty hardy.

I had some bleach from switching tanks, it turns almost all white and didnt open for several weeks, then I moved it, and within a week it was fully open and regained all of its color. Pretty hardy.

I wouldn't dose anything you can not test for as with Iodine...water changes alone can replenish that. They do need calcium for skeleton growth
Lighting varies as my son has grown monstrous colonies in lighting as low as that in a Nanocube with stock PC lighting and we have some in my tanks with MH lighting. Flow is key as if they have too much they will not expand out as much as they should. They like low- mild but gentle indirect flow.
We have hammers that started as 2 headed frags and grew to colonies over 50 easily. Frogspawn grow a little slower it seems.
They are both pretty hardy and frag easily except wall frogspawn which is a little harder to do. Branching you just cut or break apart and your good to go :)
