Brain Question

Would a brain do well under compact fluorescents? I have a 46gal with 2 96w fluoros, 1 12,000k and 1 actinic along with 3 moon bulbs.

they like to be on the sand bed so that light will probably work but he wont open to his fullest. i have 150 watt mh light over mine and he wont open up all the way unless he's 1/2 in a shadow.

Most open brains enjoy lower lighting, I keep a welsi partly under a rock, with PC lighting and it does great

My brain is about 6 inches from the surface directly under a 250 MH and opens up to insane proportions. The brain will depend on how its kept in the store. When I bout mine it was about 10 inches from a 400w. mine is also a green which i have read enjoy more lighting than the red ones.
