ATB Small question

New to ATB skimmers.

My question is when you turn the pump off does anyone on occasion need to place the ceramic shaft back into the bushing? I've had this problem several times. It's starts fine one time and the next time I need to place the shaft back into the rubber bushing.

It seems that the ceramic shaft gets loose when the pump is stopped and I have to push the shaft back into the bushing.

I'm using the 1250 and soon will replace it with the 1260.

Please check that your shaft was not broken, chipped, or worn down

Please take the rubber bushing out of the lid put it on the shaft and then put the lid on.
