Hello all,
I have been scanning through the posts today looking for some advice on skimmers. But not really finding what I need, I thoght I would do my own.
It has come time for me to replace my skimmer. I would like to have a hang-on style. Plus I would like a good quality unit. I skimped on the one I have now which is sittting in my sump, not working AGAIN. So liek I said time for a new one.
I have a sixty two gallon setup FO.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I have looked at that one. I also have been looking at a Prizm Deluxe.

CPR backpacks are great! Get the dual CPR back pack HOB skimmer. I set my cup low to wet skim and have to empty it every other day. They are also cheap and can be run off of a MJ1200 with a few mods

For that size of a tank the CPR would be ok, the dual cpr would be better, the prizm is not very good, but I would suggest one of the Octopus units. The BH800S is a great skimmer for the price (should be about $225 to $250).

Jim,

My remora pro with Mag 5 is pulling some serious skimmate out of my 75 SPS. It seems like it get's a bad wrap on RC....but it's doing exactly what its supposed to do for me...though I recommend the Mag 5. I upgraded about a month ago and the skimmate has been darker and there's more of it.
