AP24 after sitting empty for a year

i bought it new. was setup for appox 6mo. anything i have to worry about with this sitting empty for a year? any additional testing i have to do with it other than letting it sit filled with water? would i have to fill, test, empty and fill test again??
the unit has been stored in its original container with all the protective foam packing.

The only thing you would really have to worry about is the fact it stayed empty for so long and it may cause a leak. Try filling it and letting it sit for a day or two, and then you should be fine. Just replace all of the filter media, which after that long would be bad. And the lighting system needs to be tested. Other than that, you are alright. I went through the same thing a couple of weeks ago setting up a tank that sat around for a year.
