Ok I have narrowed done my choice of Ca reactors to either a PM RFCa4 or a Geo612. Any opinions would be welcome, especially if you have had experience with both. I have a very small area to put it and I think the PM has a slightly smaller footprint. I also think the PM effluent valve is really nice. The Geo comes with a pH port whereas I would have to add one to the PM and it would be in the recirc plumbing not on top like the Geo. I can get either for almost the same price, so which to choose?

hello. i have the PM reactor. i have never used nor have i ever seen a geo so i cant say anything good or bad about them. the pm is build very well and is very easy to set up. if you have any questions about it let me know.

I have not had a PM in the past - I did get a Geo last month - set up and dialing it in took one day and I haven't had to adjust since. Best experience I've had with a CA reactor.

BBBlenny, do you use a pH controller with your PM? If so, where do you have the probe?

Never used PM but I have a GEO 6/12 when I had my 79G and now its on my 200G.

You can get the deluxe kit from Jason @ premium aquatics. That's the same one I am running and it's pretty much set and forget. I'm using the same media still from a year ago.

It also cames with a MJ1200 for feed pump but not pictured. I use an Eheim 1048 instead.

Anyone using a pH controller with a precision marine Ca rector? or should I just go with the Geo?
