I get these micro bubbles on and off on my LR and corals. I have fairly new Power heads, two Koreial 1's (spelling?). I have cleaned them several times, I don't believe they are at fault.

Its a 15g nano, with T-5 lighting. All i run is a heater and two power heads.

I do 6 gallon water changes, all the bubbles go away, then come right back. Its sooooo annoying.

I have been battling a lot of algae, hair and cyno. Could they be producing the bubbles?

someone please help! lol

I was thinking, when I do a water change maybe air is being trapped in the rock and being released once it is filled with water?

If this is the case then how do I prevent this. I have 40 pounds of LR in my tanks, so its packed...

How long has the tank been set up? If it is newly setup it is normal. If it has been set up for a while I would guess that it is associated with the algae.

ya its been up for over a year

what could the algae be doing? producing oxygen in mass amounts?

it could be the algae. I've had issues like that before. When it grows it produces gas. when you do the water changes, it's taking the nutients out of the system so it is prob halting the growth of the algae
