Tried this in another forum but no hits. I've read that sps tanks should test for K. I don't use zeovit. I've read that zeo users should test for this due to the zeolites absorbing K. Which test kit and which supplement to use for non zeo tanks? Thanks.

I know that there is a test kit on the zeo website. Did you try the reef chemistry section?

Haven't tried the reef chemistry section. I've seen this topic here b4, but there wasn't a clear answer. I guess not a lot of reefers test for it.

I dose it and test it with the Zeo Potassium Test Kit. Natural potassium levels in coral reefs are 390-400mg/L. Mine was in the low 300's when I started.

How accurate is it to test for potassium?

Unless you're running a ULNS such as Zeovit, dosing K is probably not necessary. Regular water changes with a good quality salt should take care of it.
