Just as the title states. How long is GFO good for in a reactor before it needs to be replaced?

Test the ouput of the reactor with your phosphate test kit.
If you get a reading of any level then it is time.

That is probably a much better way of managing GFO than I employ... I wait until I begin seeing a little green film on the side of my display/fuge in the wetroom and change out the media then. About 24 hours after that, the film is gone and I'm good for another 4-6 weeks;)

I test every two weeks and change out if the reading is above .001 ppm. I'm going on six weeks with the current media.
