Tunze 6025s too much for a softie 40g breeder?

I'm setting up some frag tanks in the basement and had 2 of these left over. At 660gph per, is that too much for a softie/lps tank? Mainly zoas, acans, duncans and gorgonians.

I'm putting the frags on a 1" sandbed, so except for the gorgonians they really aren't in the line of fire.

My other option is 2 MJ1200s.

i had 1 6025 in a biocube 29 with softies....was fine.

I alternate two 6025's in my 29g biocube every hour and its perfect!
