So I can get a 6 month old 24 gal aquapod, with the stand, skimmer, & PC compact lighting for 150.00, is this as good deal? How are aquapods? I have no experience with them but am thinking of doing dwarf seahorses & a mandarin(eventually). And this falls in my price range!Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a good deal. I paid $189 for the my Aquapod and $150 for the stand(Solana stand). You may want to add a couple of Koralia Nano pumps for additional flow. I also modified my hood to accept two 40 watt bulbs instead of the two stock 32 watt bulbs. It doesn't sound like much, but the 25% lighting increase made a huge difference. My zoanthids stopped stretching into to the light and they are growing like crazy.

I doubt that any 24 gallon aquarium will ever produce enough copepods to keep a Mandarin alive for very long. Please research this before you subject one to a slow starvation.

Here's a picture of my Aquapodm 24.
