Hello,
I m building my canopy for my 180 gallon upgarde and will be using LB minis. The total height of the stand tank and canopy is well over 6 feet and it is going to be placed where the overhead will be a little on the low side.

I will have 3" between the top of the canopy and the ceiling. I will be installing fans in the canopy. I am a little concern about how close the top of the canopy to the ceiling. i will have 2 x 175 and a 250 in the middle. Is this a fire hazard or is it okay, I don't want to find out the hard way. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Noel

Unless you have wall paper on your ceiling you should not have an issue. I would mount fans on the top to draw in cool air and fans on the side to draw out hot air. Just an idea.
