150 DE Ushio Bulbs...

Just wondering if anyone can give me some feedback on these....I will be using them on a shallow tank (40 Breeder) and there will be two bulbs on the tank. Does that sound like this bulb would be appropriate for that set up?

Should be fine on that 40. You will need to watch temperature to see that it doesn't climb too high.

I have had it set up for a while now, just have to have the bulbs replaced, as it has been set up for a while and I got the unit used (therefore dont know how old the bulbs are. Just wondering about the spectrum/PAR etc on the ushio bulb.

You didn't mention the color of the bulbs. If they're Ushio 10000k bulbs they give off a whole lot of light in a crisp white color.
