Ok, I have a bunch of Hydroids growing on my rocks. I have a relatively new tank so I don't have any corals yet, but I don't want these to be a problem once I do start introducing corals.
The Hydroids look like the ones in this pic only brown.

Please tell me what to do to get rid of them. Can I pluck them? Can I treat for them? Can I scrape them off? How do I prevent them from spreading/coming back?
Any info would be really helpful!!
