I'm interested in getting a timer for feeding. I would something that operates by pressing a button that will interrupt the power for my main pumps for a duration such as half an hour, and then turn eveyrthing back on.

This way more of the food I feed will feed my tank instead of my sump.

Anybody have any idea what such a timer would be called or where I could buy one?

Your probably going to need some type of controller. Or you could prob use a couple of digital light timers

Why not use a regular timer?

When you feed you would stick in the little trip switches as close together as they can go (probably 1 hour) and turn the timer to that position until the power shuts off.

It will come back on automatically.

Whenever you feed you just turn the dial until the pumps turn off and start over.
