I have these worms on the front glass. Been siphoning some out. Finally got Flatworm Exit. Siphoned out a bunch and put them in a gallon container. Added 2 drops of the stuff and agitated the water and waited. They were still swimming. Added 2 more drops and then they died.

So in my 20g frag tank I added 50 drops to start with. I waited 30 minutes and did note some fell away from the glass. Two hours later and they were still moving on the glass. I then added 25 more drops. I didn't have lots in there so I wasn't worried about toxins building up. I ran the carbon filter after treatment.

Two days later I noticed I still have some on the front glass.

Could this be a bad batch of this stuff? It states to use 4 drops for every 5g.

Here is a pic of what they look like on the front glass.

[welcome]

Best thing to do is take a few of the worms, add them to a known volume of tank water, and begin adding drops of FWE. You should then be able to determine X amount of drops per Y volume of water is needed to kill them.

hard to tell in small pic, but to me they look like the harmless scavenger type of flatworm, not the kind that gets out of control???

Well I give up on trying to get this picture to enlarge. Seems Photobucket shrinks it down.

I seen those on the other site but they don't look like that. They look white on the glass and I have seen one crawling on a rock. I don't see them all over my rocks attacking my corals. When I put them in a white bucket, they appear to be darker in color.

I have had the chemical in the tank for a couple of hours now. Guess I will go and check it out and turn on the carbon filter. I just don't want these in my main tank.

They are still alive!!!

There must be something wrong with the stuff then. I must have used half the bottle already!
