Not a favia or favites, the polyps are way too big. It really doesn't look like a Acan either. In my opinion it looks exactly like a mix between a favia and a acan, the polyps size is similar to a acan.

could be wrong, looks like a favia to me. Some of the Aussie favias have very large polyps.

Thank you for your reply! This coral is not in my tank, it's at the LFS I work at so I know for a fact this coral did not come from Australia...unless a wholesaler made a HUGE mistake. If you look at the first picture it looks like an acan polyp, the rest make it look like something else. Apparently I've totally confused everyone, as an ID here was very easy to get in other situations?

Keep the opinions coming please. The AIMS page being GONE doesn't help much.
