Which food for angelfish?

I've been looking into the foods, and Foster & Smith have the cheapest air shipping on frozen foods.

Would either of these be a good food or is it best to pay the extra amount and order the angel formula from somewhere else?

I would go with Hikari out of those two. Just make sure you have some mature live rock so it can pick at the algae and even some sponges. Personally I don't find that S.F. Bay brand has quality foods.

Is it worth paying $5 more for shipping and order angel formula? You can look at it on marine depot's site.

Basic analysis of the foods by just looking at their ingredients and make up make it seem like Hikari would have the better food because sponges are the #1 ingredient in the food (which means they are the most abundant ingredient), and sponges of course are one of the key components of the Angel's diet, and a few other things.
That being said, I've used Ocean Nutrition foods and have nothing bad to say about them, and I know plenty of folk that use that diet for their angels (my friend raised his Koran on it and it has marvelous colors). I would try the cheaper of the two, and if the angel doesn't accept it, then try the other because I don't think you'll see much of a difference in quality between them. I know I haven't. Hopefully that helps.

i have used both andthe angels and moorish idol eat both well i prefer to use the Hakari because of the sponge content for the moorish idol

I really like the Hakari. The SF brand sometimes seems too rubbery. But it is all about what the fish prefer and feeding a variety of things. Buy both and see which one it likes. Some angels are picky. My chrysurus loves Hikari A pellets, but my flagfins and regal don't. They like spectrum pellets. My blueline ONLY eats mysis (large or small) and won't eat anything else.
