elaborate?? I am assuming you mean for a 1/2" bulkhead??

standard hole size for a 1/2" bulkhead is 1 1/8".

But some bulkheads can vary, it is best to have the bulkhead before you drill to be sure.

I would also question what you would need a 1/2" bulkhead for?? That is awfully small and not something I would use on any size tank for any reason to be honest. I guess MAYBE on a nano.......but even most likely not then.

No cal reactor. I am trying to build one and replicating a 612 model. I need to know what size to drill for the top flange for the pvc pipe to run through.

what i do is i have hole saw bits, i just measure the o.d. of what im going to cut and drill a 1/16 smaller to compinsate for any bouncing of the bit. after cleaning/sanding the hole you should have a very snug fit for what you are drilling for. DO NOT USE PADDLE BITS i learned that the hard expensive way. the paddle bit bounces around and dont give you a true round hole. just my2cents
