A have had a 120 gallon mixed LPS/SPS/anemone/softie reef for 4 or 5 years.

I am running into some nutrient problems so I have decided to upgrade my flow and skimming.

I have a EuroReef CS-6-2+ skimmer which I mesh-modded a while ago.

I am considering getting a Bubble King Mini either 160 or 180 skimmer.

My question is for people who have used these skimmers before. Obviously they are high quality well-regarded skimmers. I want to know if I will see a significant improvement in terms of skimmate production going from the Euro-Reef to the Bubble King.

I don't mind spending the money if I will get significantly better skimming. However I don't want to spend $1000.00 just for a name or prestige. So the question is, is this upgrade worth doing?

Why not try another option,

Have you got room in your sump for a fudg, ATV or nitrate filter?

Might be a lot cheap and more importantly give you better results.
