I am running a TLF phosban reactor with their granular GFO. I love how well it works, but i think the price of that stuff is a little rediculous. I know there has to be cheaper stuff out there that works just as well.
Can someone provide me with the exact name, or a link, of the brand that they use?

Another vote for bulkreefsupply.com. I've used their pellet GFO for months now and it works great.

I haven't tried the HC GFO yet, I'm waiting for someone to tell me why/how that would be better.

Does that stuff leach chemicals/phospates back into the water once it's fully saturated?

I don't think it leaches it back into the water after it is saturated. But when you see and increase on your phosphates that is the time to switch it out. Mine last about 3-4 weeks. I use about a cup for my 240g water volume.
