I see in a lot of pictures of people with their tank they leave the mag-float attached.. any certain reason? That would drive me crazy on my tank
also, I have a glass tank.. how often do you clean the glass?

Because I use it every day and its a lot easier to leave it in the tank. Sometimes you make compromises......;)

I had to learn to live with my intank fuge so the mag float is easy to ignore.

I leave mine in the tank. I've found I'm better at the "housekeeping" of my tank when it's convenient :)
I just slide mine around to the back side or side by the wall where it's fairly unobtrusive.

I did not mind having it in the tank when I had a black background. Now that I have blue background, I take it out and put it on a plate next to the DT. Taking it out gives me the opportunity to inspect, clean and replace the pad as necessary. I use it once or twice a week.

Ive also hid it next to equipment (hang on filter, heaters, powerheads), and i actually think it shows that the owner likes to take care of there hobby when i see it in pics.
