I have one they are reef safe not very agressive but should not be put with really docile fish.Beautiful fish with lots of persinality.

I'm guessing a blue jaw and a blue throat are the same fish? If so, I have one and he is great. Have him with a Vlamingi Tang, 3 bartlett's anthias and a few gobies. Very peaceful, hardy, and lots of personality as stated above. I have all SPS in my tank and he shows no interest in any of them - just the way I like it.

I had a pair... very nice fish indeed. Agree with all the above and will add to keep him well fed to avoid nipping at any shrimp/snails/hermits.

I have a Male/Male pair. Hey, I'm open minded.. Mine dont nip at any corals and I have never seen them go after any inverts. They can be shy and have only seen them chase my orchid dotyback once in a while. They are also known as the cheaper alternative to the crosshatch trigger.

Ive been researching triggers and plan on having a blue throat, Niger, Or picasso. I havent decided which to go with yet but the Bursa is what set off the desire to start a saltwater tank.

I have a 4-1/2 to 5" male Blue Jaw in my 210. He was quite shy when I first added him but has become the boldest fish in my tank over the course of a year. He is peacefull with all my tank inhabitants which includes some tiny Sexy shrimp and two cleaners as well. He has become somewhat of a pain during feeding time and gets the bulk of the food and has made it nearly impossible to spot feed the corals not to mention having to stand guard over my anemone until he has ingested his food fully.
He only cruises the tank when he thinks its feeding time and for the remainder of the day he spends it up in a corner near a powerhead.

Would any one take a free or $20 one eyed or jacked up blue jaw trigger.I am pretty cool with the guys at my LFS and they have a blue jaw trigger that they say looks like a glass eye. They are treating him but they told me that he is either going to have one eye or its going to look jacked up and he is more than likely going to be a store pet.But they told me I could have him for free or about 20 bucks.

Does any one think that he would pick on a midas blenny or sleeper goby?
