Do I need a skimmer in my BC 14?

I have 1 clownfish, and mixed mushrooms/rics.

If so where do I put the thing?

a skimmer is always good for a tank and they do sell nano skimmers out there

You don't absolutely NEED a skimmer with any tank. However, without a skimmer, you'll have to find other ways of removing nitrates and excess proteins. The only other successful way is MASSIVE and OFTEN water changes. A protein skimmer is always a good idea with any saltwater tank. It becomes even more important as you get into corals that are more sensitive to "dirty" water.

Skimmers also help out tremendously with keeping algae at bay, by removing nitrates and proteins.

Skimmers are good. The biocube skimmer will work fine for you and you can pick them up for about $30 if im not mistaken.
