Hi I am wondering what you think is better, the biocube 29 gallon or the red sea 34.

Softies will be held in the tank with one or two small fish.

The red sea has t5 lighting and the biocube has Power compact.

any opinions? positives negatives?

I can't comment on the tanks, but I am a big fan of T5 lighting, so I would be leaning towards the Red Sea for that reason. On my next tank, I will have some combination that includes T5's, and I like keeping just the softies.

yea t5's are definitely much better than the pc's plus the 5 extra gallons will make a much bigger difference than you would think

I just bought the Red Sea MAx130D. It's the new Deluxe version with more powerful lighting, a more powerful skimmer, more flow, a additional cooling fan.
I am excited waiting to get it shipped to me! I looked at them all and the biocube looks like a toy next to the RedSea Max!
Not saying the biocube is not good, because it is. The RedSea is just alot more for your money!
