I just purchased a 3" frag of some GSP polyps that, when extended in the LFS, looked to be well over an inch long. Most GSP i've seen were about 1/2" long. .
I don't have pics right now, and since the frag is small and rubber-banded in place it's not very impressive, but show us yours flowing in the current!
These have always been one of my favorites, and I'm glad they are hardy/fast growing.

The tentacles on these are about 1" - 1-1/4" long: http://i266.photobucket.com/albums/ii249/spoon99/DSCN3249gsp.jpg
I was a little too successful in growing them on an acrylic sheet, which has been fragged endlessly...can't even give them away any more!:

Very sweet! That looks a lot like one of the varieties that I have. The green on them is just incredible.
I love that third pic. I honestly don't think many corals are as pretty a a big mat of GSP swaying in the current.

yeah very nice, i wish my LFS would sell them, for a reasonable price they ask for a 2 inch frag for 50$

I paid $18 for a frag that size last week, but it was of the very long, very florescent green variety you see above.
A couple weeks ago I bought a variety that actually has more of a "star shaped" polyp, same size, for $10. It's almost as green.

Any photos of them under blue actinic lighting? From someone who has never seen them in that light, do they glow?

Depending on the variety. The one's I have look like they are full of nuclear radiation. I don't have a pic right now, sorry!
I have a different variety as well that have some florescence but not nearly as much as the longer ones.

The color looked like it reflected well under blue. Thanks for the info.

Here you go, got a pic. It's a small frag.
