I am deciding what kind of water movement i am going to want in my new 24 gallon nanocube.

- Hydor flo on outlet of sump + tunze 6025
or
- 1 hydor koralia 1 and one hydor koralia nano. both on a jbj ocean pulse

they are both about the same price.

Any comments or suggestions?

the koralias on a wave maker will be worse then a bunch of old ladies locked in a room together....i am certain the chatter would be unbearable...

i would go your first route of those options...but better yet would be a 6055 on a controller...

i wouldnt be too worried about flow either as you can adjust the 6055 so it doesnt run at full tilt at first and once the sand is established you can let it rip...in my 20 gallon tank i have a koralia 3 and a 2 running simultaneously plus the return from my MAg5 and i have no sand moving at all, those three pumps move about 1800gph in my tank

I have a Koralia 1 in my 24G along with an extra pump plumbed through the back wall. Just another stock 24G pump. SPS are looking good.

i am going to do mainly lps and softies. and probablly some montiporas.
i think the 6055 might be a little too much;
It may be just right, depending on how much flow the hydor flo takes from the return.

i am a little unsure because i've never had such a small tank.

the only LPS i have in my tank are, a fungia on the sand...a hammer halfway up on one side...and a candy cane frag half way up on the opposite side..i also have three mini carpets and a GBTA in there...and about 15 or so different SPS's too... the 6055 may be too much if you dont plan on going SPS, i would certainly look at the 6045 at the very least though...

no sps = 6025 or 6045?

6025 for a softy tank and a 6045 for a LPS tank i would say...

My Koralia's don't chatter and work fine on my JBJ ocenapulse but I could just be lucky
