GSP is very hardy. They should be just fine.

+1 I agree, you should be fine with it.

I don't think you can kill them ;) I left some in a bucket of cold water for about a month after moving my tank and it never died. That bucket was so cold. I figured it deserved to go back in the tank and its still there...taking over everything. Tough stuff.

GSP's were some of the first corals I purchased. When I asked the owner of our LFS if they were hardy, he got this "look" on his face and in a gruff voice said..."That (explitive) will grow in a toilet if you put a light on it!"

jkeating, congrats, you just completed your first fragging!

Very true.... Keep your eye on it as it can choke out your other corals.

Jpergamo, A key difference between GSP and a lawn: if you hit your yard with a weed eater long enough, the lawn will die.

Jkeating: so long as you've half a dozen polyps on the tear- superglue it to something and watch it grow. no worries for what you describe

jkeating, keep it on an island in the sand, or take it out of your tank
