Setting up my 29 gal and what do you all think is better. Should I get one koralia 2 or should I put a koralia 1 on each end?
How noisy are the koralia?
Are they silent if I get the smaller ones?

Btw, does filters account for the flow in a tank as well like powerheads or is it different?
thanks

They are both very quiet. Yes, the flow from filters do count when calculating your total flow rate. I think two are better than one because its easier to eliminate any dead spots. What are you planning to put in your tank?

I would go with 2 of the number 2's. I have a 29G with 1 #2 and 2 nano's and I need more flow. I am going to sell the nano's and get another #2.

I would get two number 2's. I have a 30 gal and just added a second because I needed more flow.

I have two Kroalia 1's on my 38 gallon and flow is perfect ... good luck.

1 #3 if its going to be a SPS, I had a 3, it was nice for BB tank. the corals loved it.

I vote for 1 bigger pump, regardless of a K1, through 4. I had a K3 in my nano tank for a little bit, and it wasn't as impressive as I had thought it was going to be.

A couple 2s get my vote.

wow, thanks for all the great inputs. I plan on keeping softies and some LPS as that is all my light (65x2 pc) limits me to. I was afraid getting two K2 would blow everything around like my sand and be louder.

as far as sound they are silent. i run 2 twos on my 50 which is just a little more depth. perfect for lps...

So, now I guess it's either two K1s or two K2s. In terms of noise, are they the same? Also, I can't get a definitive answer but are the koralia's flow adjustable in case I am get everything blown away with the K2s? thanks

Are your two K2 blowing your sand over the place? If you have two K2s in your 50 gal, does that mean I should just put two K1s? thanks
