Hi! I have built stands in the past for various tanks, but they havent looked all that great but could withstand anything, they were seriously overbuilt.

Here is my question: I really like this stand Here (http://www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3730+3732+13981&pcatid=13981) but to me it doesnt look like it could hold a 29g saltwater aquarium full of rock, etc... And the MDF part really scares me.

Kentanner11,

Thank you for your post. The Aquatic Fundamentals Wave Stands are built using MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) with a powder-coated finish. These stands are designed to hold the weight of the specific range of tanks listed for each stand. If you would like more information on these stands, please feel free to contact us or Aquatic Fundamentals here (http://www.aquaticfundamentals.com/contact.html).

If I can ask another question- how big is the inside area (l,w,h) of the stand?

Thanks!
