I got 2 clowns today and when I saw it I thought it was a false perc but they had them labeled as TR Percula.

Looks like a false perc -> oscellaris. Nice fish anyhow.

Thanks man, thought so. Seems like all the LFS around here label false percs as true percs. I'll try and get some better pictures later :)

ya, there is a trend lately to label occelaris as perc's and perc's as true perc's.

Looks more like a false from what I've seen. Cute fish. Been thinking about one myself.
Do you have an anemone for it?

Nope, I don't.
Tank is still new, I don't think an anemone would work out in my tank. not to mention I have almost no lighting

Does the "TR" mean "true" or "tank raised"?

Looks like a false. True percs usually have darker black bands, but the only true way to find out is by the number of fins.
