hello,

i am looking at my first tang(blonde naso tang 3-4 inches long) will a 20 long be big enough for a qt tank. this qt tank has been up and running for over a month.

Yes it will be big enough for a 3 inch fish. Just be sure to give it some hiding? resting spots.By all means qt.

what is recommended for a hiding/resting spots. i have a few pices of 1 1/2 pvc. i do not think a tang will fit in them. i tried larger pvc, but it would not sink.

drill holes in the large pvc..that will help it sink.... also the joints/conection type pieces sink easier than the pieces of pipe

I sometimes use some of those ornamental artifical coral pieces, I happen to have lying around. Why won't the large pvc sink? Mine does. Tey don't hae to go in it; just behind it. They seem to like to nestle between structure and the back glass.

Take a clay flower pot and break it in half longways. A great artificial cave.
