So I purchased this bubble tip Anenome At my LFS which he just picked up a day before, and this thing was massive.. 80 bucks was worth it for this beast.. I knew it had to be almost 24" when fully open or even more...SO I put him in my tank and he moves down to one of my pretty big caves I have and he just sits in there with about 12" sticking out for light... Not really where i wanted him but the thing is... Will he come out more as he slowly gets used to the lighting and his surroundings? I would love it to come fully out of the cave and so it can show its full size out in the open... I didnt have time to post a pic but I wil tomorrow... Any advice for this in the mean time?

Just leave it be. They can be very tempermental. I have a RBTA that is like 14"+ some days, and others only 8". Just depends on how happy it is with its location, if it is being bugged by anything, and the quality of light and water in your tank. As far as getting it to go where you want it to, good luck. it will go where it wants to almost no matter what you do.

Ya I have a Riterri that I bought about a month and a half ago and I put him where I thought would be a great place for it have flow and a lot of light... It barelt moved from that spot and it extends out to about 15 or so inches as well... When the actinics come on, it goes from 15 to like 6... I hope the BTA will come out though more day by day...
