My wife is from Greece and she recently went there with her family for a week. I was wondering if there is any good diving there? I never hear of fish/inverts coming from Greece. Just curious. The water there looks So beautiful.

There are nice reefs there but the reason you don't hear about stuff coming from there is because its the Mediterranean sea, its a little colder than lets say the red sea or any other places were we get our fish from.
The reefs are still beautiful and it would be one hell of a nice diving trip.

Its not really the stuff we keep in our systems, and not quite as spectacular as other nearby areas...hop on a plane over to egypt for some red sea diving if you can....

there's no coral reefs in greece,thats why you dont hear about them.....

I work w/ someone how is from greece and he says diving is illegal there

yeah, apparantly there are a lot of ancient ruins underwater and the government doesn't want them to be ruined by looters or something like that
