I might have done it longer...

There is algae and pods for them to snack on...so they should be fine.

Yes, they will be fine.
How long do you think they went w/out eating during shipping from south pacific to USA--at least 2 weeks. I've gone on vacation w/out feeding for 7 days at a time.
It will cause stress and aggression, but they should be fine if they're healthy.

Yup, 3 days is just common.

It's like the time when fishes are caught and being held on a exporter holding system before shipping to your country.

I have gone 2 weeks once without feeding when I was in Alaska...everyone made it out alive. Not advising anyone to do this, but just goes to show how tough fish can be once acclimated.

Depends on the species of fish.

What are you keeping?

Some fish will nip at corals when food is not present and you don't want them to get used to that. Some automatic feeders are really simple and cheap, also easy to get at your LFS.

I've tried going without feeding for days. The fish will be fine, but some of the smaller organisms, such as pods and worms may die off. As a result of this, the end result may be counterproductive. In other words, last time I tried going for any period of time, the result was a cyano outbreak; I assume this was from the die-off and detriviore reduction...
