View Full Version : help..what kinda snail is this? if it is one

seen crawling up a rock..first time ive seen it
its kinda oval shaped and has two long tenacles sticking out the front of it..is it good or bad?

From the lower picture it looks like a Stomanella. A very good snail to have in your reef.

Woodie is right, it's a Stomatella that has recently autotomized its foot. I guessed a marginellid on the other thread, but didn't see the side-view pic. It's a safe algae eater.
