I have a 100g Rubbermaid stock tank that I will be using for a sump. I will be using an in-sump submersible pump. There are two holes at the bottom of the tank for water drainage. One hole is capped off but the other is open. What is the best way to seal the other hole? I am not sure of the PVC fittings I could buy to close off the 2" hole. I know that Rubbermaid sells a plug for it but I wanted to try and fix it myself. I can use a hammer but suck at plumbing....Any suggestions?

i would get 2" bulkhead thats threaded on the inside and screw a plug into the bulkhead...

I agree with jdmcivicek9.

Buy the bulkhead and a plug (to close the hole in the bulkhead). Install and test with water to insure you get a good seal. It's the fastest and the easiest way to get it done.

yep, a bulkhead is your best bet. You can get what rubbermaid sells, or buy one from elsewhere. Rubbermaid would be the best bet, as it's a sure fit, but plenty of places sell good bulkheads.
