should i just add a little salt at a time to my sump or make my 10% bi-weekly water changes more salty.i wrote salinity but its the specific gravity i want to raise.

mix a strong batch of salt water in a bucket/pitcher, use airline tubbing and drip it in the sump. you can tie a knot in the air line tubbing to adjust the stream to a drip, by making the knot tighter. Let it drip overnight, and retest/repeat until you get the desired level.

What is your salinity now ???? And what do you want it to be.
There a few ways to raise...HOWEVER, you never want to raise it to fast. A slow rise will be fine, but if you try to raise it to fast, thats when you will loose fish & corals

I was just woundering what his salinity was. REMEMBER....That guy last summer that had the salinity at 1.024 & wanted to raise it to 1.028....Because thats what his LFS said to do ???
