My zoanthids have not been opening up lately ... was thinking I had a case of nudis. So I was checking the tank out tonight and found THIS thing clamped onto a tonga branch with lots of zoanthids on it. I mean it was clamped so hard I had to PRY it off with a skewer! Any ideas what this thing is?

Here's the top of it (he's kind of curled up - he was flat as can be on the branch):

And here's his slimy underbelly:

Disgusting!

chiton

hes your friend. not foe. harmless grazer. he was mowing on the rocks and couldnt care less about your polyps :)

I used to have this huge lavender colored one I loved to see. He was well over an inch and I would only see him about once every 4-6 months. Its been quite a while since Ive seen him unfortunately :(
