Strange Slime

I've got some dark green slime, maybe it's algae on the top of my sad-bed. I've also got a problem with a red slime/algae floating on the top of the water in my refrigerium. I tried this red slime medicine, small vile with small spoon-one per 10 gals. The red slime went away for a week and now it's back. The medicine isn't doing anything anymore.

You may have high phosphates. Are you running a phosphate reactor, to keep it under control?

No, I'm not. I don't even know what a phosphate reactor is.
